Hot in Hawaii...

A stop midway between Vancouver and Sydney was Honolulu, Hawaii. The sand is soft, the palm trees wave in the breeze and the waves crash big on the Northshore... Surfers ride the big wave and make it look easy... "just like riding a bike"... I heard. Ha !!! Right !!!

I think I'll stick to walking and taking in the wonderful sights of this island. The only US state, by the way, whose state flag incorporates the British Union Jack.
